2021

2021 was another bust in our plan to retire early and see the world.  Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic we missed another year to travel overseas.  For various reasons we decided to stick close to home.

We did complete a very fun 38 day swing around the west where we reconnected with friends and family that we have not seen since the lockdown.  We attended a rally for vehicles like Scout where we met some new friends.   We also took a very short trip to the Olympic Peninsula and Seattle to meet up with friends and to see our son Dylan.

The Chevrolet base of Scout our RV gave us some significant problems this year, so a couple of trips were ended prematurely to take care of maintenance issues.  Lets just say the engineers that designed the diesel exhaust system on the 2013 Silverado should be ashamed of themselves.
