We have been blogging about our travels for several years now. During that time we have never had anything seriously go wrong. We have had some little adventures that have caused short periods of stress, but they have always worked themselves out. We find that people tend to step up and help and often what starts out as a period of stress turns into something good when local people go out of their way to help us. We tend to refer to things going wrong as Road Adventures, and posts about them are below.
We have also had places and experiences that were just really special, we tend to refer to them as Travel Highlights. Often these great experiences are unexpected. Someone reaches out and helps when you least expect it, a place you did not even know or had the vaguest idea about turns out to be really wonderful. We have had many experiences like this and this is what makes traveling so appealing to us. If we did not venture out these experiences would never have happened and these places would not have been found.
